Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Okay first of all thanks for reading my journal everyone. I saw your responses. Here is today's

Razor: Parker Variant
Blade: Gillette Nacet (3)
Soap: SV Dolomiti
Brush: Wolf Whiskers
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: SV Dolomiti

Awesome shave today. The Parker Variant honestly is a just a great razor. I recommend this one I might actually enjoy it more than the Rockwell. Today was the SV Dolomiti and I love this scent. I hope this one gets the tin treatment soon from SV, I think the SV soaps I own that are in the cardboard boxes are starting to lose scent. It seems to get revived while lathering but my SV soaps that are in tins hold the scent much better.

The shave today was a wonder BBS+ and that is expected when the Nacet is between shaves 3-5 just seems to perform perfectly.

Homefront:

Nothing crazy to report. We have been getting alot of rain which means the lawn is growing. And it is GREEN!!! Greener than I have ever seen it. I doubt it will last though. Many seem to forget Utah is technically desert. While yes technically higher elevation but still desert. I refuse to spend the money that some do to keep the lawn looking like it is in Scotland.

Anyways hope you all have a great day.

I think this be another premature post...

Why did I just phrase that like a pirate? Yarrr...

ETA: there it is...great shave today Chad. I would imagine he'll get all the soaps into tins eventually...

LOL Yes Josh I hit the post button a little quickly today. And someone caught it! I am sure he will get it there also. Thankfully the pucks last forever so I can wait him out.

I did that with the Fine soaps, and then a year later BOOM he puts them is awesome containers! So now I am left my poor job of taping the labels to containers. I really wish all soap makers would just put the soap in a container.

Placing SV in a Plastic Tub?! Blasphemy!!!!! you are going to lose your Tumbleweed card on that one. BTW I carry the Full Parker Razor Line now, maybe I will send you a pic, LOL

He didn’t put it in a plastic tub he put Fine in a plastic tub. I put 2 of my SV in a plastic tub because SWMBO is eyeing my soaps and that made them look less appealing ?

Yes they do. It has always been a pet peeves of mine. I'm already paying X amount for the soap. Just up the price and put it in a container. I am glad that the 4.3 beta line seems to get containers, much better customer experience in my opinion.

I totally agree. I have some of those wood box/bowls and I think they look cool, but man do they take up space.
