Brew's Foul Concoction

Larry, I saw the straight of the day post and hope others use it as well. I use a Weck and feather sporadically so won't be there much posting although I enjoy seeing your blades you're using so keep posting them wherever you want. (y)

Thanks Dave. I don't want to detract from the SOTD threads, there are so many great pics in the threads; either by putting my dull, mostly lifted (with or without permission) razor pics in there, or by making members chose where to post. Anyway, thanks for the support.

Second try with the CBL Money soap. Another great lather; almost perfect. What is perfect about this soap, though, is how it pairs with The Veg! ding! Ding!! DING!!! What a winner!!!! Finished with some Pen's EF. These three work.

Rainy day here in the Finger Lakes. I hope it doesn't do too much damage to my wallet . . . .

I wasn't, for the longest time, Don. But when I let it sit in a glass bottle for a month, it turned into lilac nectar!
All you Veg guys keep telling me this. I just can't bring myself to doing it. One of these days though...one of these days.

Mine’s been sitting in glass for nearly a year. Definitely lost all its plastic smell and most of its cat pee scent, lilac is definitely out to play, still haven’t worn it more than a few times...when I’m alone and hopin it’s gotten better than the last time. :ROFLMAO:

It helps if you open the bottle about once a week and blow some fresh air in, unless you have locomotive breath . . . .

It most certainly does!
I’ll send you a tub of the tabacaveg along with that other Oud based soap I want your thoughts on. I’m waiting on a top coat for the labels so they don’t bleed when exposed to water, once I get that I’ll coat the labels and get the soap out in the mail. As a loyal Tabac user and lover of the Veg you Deserve to poses the Tabacaveg. If you don’t love it you may set it free (or bury it along side the road).

I would love to try them, thank you. I remember when you guys were writing about this soap on the other forum. I was curious, as I've always thought it's a great fragrance pairing, either soap/AS or AS/cologne. BTW, I am very serious about how much I like money and the Veg. I've enjoyed the Veg and Eng Fern together for a while, but Money kicks off (and completes) the set perfectly.

I forget, if I didn’t send along some of the sir fougere scented tonsorial I will find a little bit to send along. I tried to duplicate the fabled SIR Irich Moos and ended up coming somewhere between the Moos and English Fern. I will have to see what it smells like with the Veg. I like the Veg but find it impossible to wear during the hot summer.

You did, thank you. I haven't tried that one yet because I wanted to make sure my bowl solution worked on Money. I probably could use a bit more room, the beta pucks are really very generous. I'm about half way through a bottle of SIM, so this should be fun to pair. I have an Organic Oud (not wild, but plantation grown) that pairs really nicely with SIM. The AS really tames some of the oud's funkiness, while the oud's incense notes do something with the AS that just just would never expect. Fragrance is weird. I love when stuff that has no business being in the same county, play nice together. lol.
