\nThanks Don, I was relieved I have 1 winner at least. Hoping the others are too.\nGlad the shave was much to your liking! Elan definitely sounds like a winner in the scent category!
\nI hope I can face lather them as I really prefer but wanted to give it every chance to succeed 1st time using it.\nNice lather ya whipped up there Dave. Been finding myself bowl lathering more since Thanksgiving day as well.
\nThanks Chris\nGreat photos, Dave. The blue is fantastic!
\nThanks Steve\nGlad the irritation was from the blade and not the soap Dave. Sounds like you have another winner on your hands there!
\nAppreciate it Tim\nNice shave and those pics are great!
\nThanks Chris\nGD redemption! Well done!
\nThanks Chad, I\'ll survive and have stories to tell now ? We need Zazzle - TSC Graham Field Survivors Club T-ShirtsVery nice shaves all caught up now. Sorry the GF has been giving lingering damage.
Paladin sure has slowed down their offerings. I plan to get one more as well, but I'm quite particular on the handle. I'd love to see the beehive return.....if the elusive Paladin I want comes along....
That's the one I'm hunting but in Honey Noir color only as well. White Whale brushPaladin sure has slowed down their offerings. I plan to get one more as well, but I'm quite particular on the handle. I'd love to see the beehive return.
\nNot fair to compare after just one use. I\'ll say this Stirlings are produced for them to resale. I don\'t think they are at the level of Paladins but they punch way higher then their price point even without a sale. Either will create lather and each person must decide for themselves what price they\'re comfortable with spending for a brush. I don\'t like deciding that as people all have different expectations. When I started over 10 years ago I wasn\'t in a position to own a Paladin and bought less expensive brushes for more then this Stirling and they weren\'t near as nice as this one.Dave, what are your thoughts on the Sterling Brushes Badger silvertips vs your higher end brushes?
Yep, what was more frustrating was emailing the owner and I made it clear I wasn't complaining but trying to isolate my irritation. Instead of telling me what might be in it his response was my scents are complex, cease using and consult a dermatologist. Says there is zero vanillin when I asked but Chris had told me the vanillin is in scent concoctions acquired by soap makers. I don't think he even knows what's in it......Another one?
