Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

One of SWMBO's favorites and mine as well. Sadly this soap scent is unobtainium and he won't be making it ever again.
On the other site someone posted a bottle he bought in the thread "what are you unpacking". I asked where he got it and he posted a link to the unknown to me site but I didn't see any listed. Couldn't get him to tell me much more about his acquisition. Frustrating....This was just a couple days ago

Early shave at 3am while half awake. No injuries. Nice smooth and comfortable results. I really don't need any more soaps but should get some more scents from this Company. Nice soap with well done scents. Finally some dry weather here but getting cooler. Have a great day Cadre!

How on earth can you say this! Where are the owners...this guy needs to be banned! He isn't one of us!

Loving the new brushes by Eric! He has really upped his game quite a bit!

I must be in trouble since I haven't really bought anything new this year in terms of shaving gear. LOL

Decided to do a zen shave and take my time more then usual this morning and GTB is the one for me in that zone. I pushed it a little with water and probably went to far. This soap shines in decent performance but overloaded goodness in scent. Lost 3-4 hairs on the 1st pass from the brush but she's breaking in. 1st pass went fine but lathering the 2nd pass showed I pushed it. But hey, I'm in my zen zone so back to the tub we go (I've got 3 tubs so no fear here) 3 more hairs shed from the brush on this pass, oh well. I LOVE this handle and if I need another knot down the road I can get that done. Maybe I'm spoiled by the more dense knots of my other brushes. This one is floppier which is ok with me for variety, but if it continues to lose hairs it will end up way too thin. 3rd pass no hair loss and I'm on a grail shave for smoothness and NO irritation or weepers even in my problem areas. Topped it off with GTB and will add some more as I head out the door. Hope all in the Cadre have a stupendous day !!
