Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Love the razor, Dave. Short, stout handles are my personal favorites.

That is a beautiful dog. My son and DIL just adopted a young Pit boy - he's but 18 lbs now, but will be a big boy for sure. Very sweet dogs.

Glad to see the adoption place called you back. I am sure things will go very well with the pooch. Any ideas of what you will call her? Or are you going to keep here current name?

It's a good thing you are doing for your fellow congregation member. It's not an easy thing to do I am sure to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of eight to ten hours for someone else. But that person will appreciate it much more than you will ever know. Thanks for being you Dave!

Oh...and great TSC Appreciation Shave!

Just an amazing shave today with the Tonsorial Lime. I see after 2 days what can happen with a 3017 and dialing it in. All dialed in so I can quit now....................NOT so fast !!! I'm enjoying this too much and I am committed to the 3017...................at least for now. I could feel the Fresh Lime had a slight cooling to it and it seemed to build with each pass. I look at the name but no reference to the cooling. I then saw in the ingredients list "cooling agent" Aaaaaah @CBLindsay had a ghost entry of the ghost cooling agent. Nicely played Sir. Shave 16 on the Proline makes me work harder for it but still surprised me that it got the job done with more strokes. I'll see if I replace it soon or not based on how long the whiskers stay at bay.

Never ending Bathroom Remodel: Got the rest of the electrical added and old stuff moved except for moving the light over the vanity to center of the larger new vanity and the light in the new walk-in closet. Also some more sheet rock done and new mirror hung so progress and we are on the downswing. Long work day today and calling for pouring rain today thru Friday. I do what I can that is under cover but may take tomorrow off if it continues as they say. Have a Tremendous Day Cadre !!!

Doing a rare for me NO PIC Today post because........................Reasons !!

So now the Fresh Lime tonsorial is on my "to get" list. I love a good lime scent. Stick with the 3017, more will be revealed over time.

Fresh Lime Tonsorial with Ghost Cooling? Crap...now I NEED this soap!

I can do pretty much everything you are doing on your remodel (though I am sure you are doing much better at it than I would) except for the electrical. I know it's not rocket science, but I still don't want to burn my house down. Good for you for moving the fixture...that's not always easy!

Oh I'm committed to it. I'm just playing around and know the benefits of staying with a product for some time. I'm just normally in the gotta have variety personality also known as ADHD as can be seen by all the "friends" that don't think I can. They haven't taken into consideration my stubborn streak  Thanks Bruce for the encourangement (y)

Thanks Don. It's all basic DIY stuff and I'm sure you could do it ALL and quicker than me. I'm just not in a hurry and do it in spare time in stages. Just ask @NurseDave 😂
