No, I meant that I have never seen any Tri Tips in my area. I have never really searched for them either, maybe I will go on a quest.
They seem to be an almost regional thing. I'd never heard of it till moving to Tucson. If you have a local butcher that might be your best bet.

Absolutely a more west coast cut. I search high and low and usually they are small single pieces at trader joes or at times I’ve seen pre-sliced at costco like bavette short rib strips ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. That was an odd thing to see.

Got past the stall with a foil wrap when it was 165 for an hour. 205 and out, currently sitting in a cooler and resting. Replaced on the weber charcoal with the jerk chicken, while I get the gas ready for salmon. More grilled meat than you can shake a stick at, but surprisingly few pictures of the beasts :)

Well as Grand Knight now our calendar is filling up. Was invited last night to a school board meeting. Brought the family and Megan also serves on the school board. They made pulled pork. Connor said, "dad your bbq is better will you cook us steak and turkey?"

Well forgot the pics but I cooked up some turkey breasts and sirloin steaks today. Yummy 🤤🤤
