Blackland Vector / Feather Pro-guard
Sorrentino GID Barzini / Cashmere
@CBLSoap.com Iron Throne Shave Soap
Captain's Choice North Aftershave
Penhaligon's Juniper Sling Edt
Before we get started to day, I would like to ask that we all pray for @NurseDave. He has been having a hard time distinguishing GREAT Razors from Bad ( notwithstanding the Tedalus ) in hte realm of SE. I think it might be Medication related, however it could be from not retrohaling cigars, and cleaning himself out. Whatever is the case, he seems to think the OREN is superior to the Vector........... I know too hilarous huh? Anyway pray that Dave is able to see the True Light and shave like a real man instead of "The San Francisco Bullwinke Shaver"
We digress..... An oldie by a goodie today with CBL's Iron Throne. This was a tribute during the final season of Game of Thrones, and unlike the Train Wreck that ended the series, this soap is one if his finest. Notes of burnt forrest followed by an icy chill on the face, and typical CBL Performance and finish. The Vector ( OF COURSE THE BEST SE, if you can't shave with a straight ) was perfect as was the Pro-guard. All other characters were on point for a nice 3-pass DSBBS Shave.
In other news, at the Doctor, they were perplexed how I was able to average a Blood Glucose of 125 for 14 days, with no spikes over 170 when having an A1-C of 11.5? Not to mention the Metformin does not lower Blood Sugar, just utlizes the pancreas and liver functions to help alleviate insulin resistance. The Doc would not admit, that based on when the last A1-C was taken that it may have been skewed a bit, but we agree based on current numbers that February will be the next target date, and that my net A1-c right now is estimated at 7.5, based on my current "Commando style" approach to my diet. Bicycle riding will come back once the DVT situation in better. That brings up the 2nd point. It was confirmed today that I am #61 of folks confirmed to have had Thrombotic Syndrome due to the J & J Vaccine and "Booster" which was actually just a full shot. Also only the 4th man in the US. Roughly a one in 10,000,000 odds... Should have bought a Lottery ticket, LOL. Prognosis is good however, and leg is back to normal looking and not the way it did when diagnosed. (…and yes I still would have gotten vaccinated)
Only 2-days in the shop this week and then off for 10 for the Holiday YAHOO!
THE KONA FILES:
0430 in his ACME Rocket Suit, he was up and raring to go, into the big yard and ........ Up, Up and Away...... Well not really but his take off still looks Reindeer like, just no enough lift. We may have to adjust his flaps and ailerons. Back into the small yard, and I promptly went back to bed, after all it is my day off, Woke up late about 0800 and realized... oops he was still in the backyard... Much to my figuring, it was in the low 50's he was sprawled on on the Patio couch, as shown before, as if to say... HOOMAN bring me a treat and some coffee. Ahh the life of Kona.
Thanks for stopping by.
