Well, I survived another holiday with my in-laws. The food and company were both good. Did a little Black Friday shopping: got a Blu-ray player and a couple of shirts. Now we have a bedroom and a downstairs Blu-ray player, which is long overdue. Enjoy your weekend, Cadre! 👍
 
Deets: I enjoyed the Michigan/Ohio State game today, which was closer than it ought to have been due to OSU being the lucky winners of a truly bad call. Michigan won anyway, their fourth in a row over the boys from Columbus. Be well, Cadre. 🙂
 
Well, I was going to shave today, but due to a busy morning, I was not able to get it done. Now I don’t feel like it, so tomorrow morning will suffice. I do hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. The football gods were good to me with Penn State and Michigan both winning on Saturday, and the Steelers winning yesterday. Life is good. 😀🏈

Good day, Cadre. Hope you’re having a good Wednesday. I shaved after getting a couple of vaccinations this morning. I’ll go back in a couple weeks for one more, or as my sweet wife asked, “Distemper and rabies later?” Got them a month or so later than usual, and have no legitimate reason for doing so. Stay safe and stay vaccinated, folks! 👍

Nice lunchtime shave for an appointment a bit later. We had a light dusting of snow overnight, but the roads are clear. Cold and sunny at 26F/-3C. We’re supposed to have warmer weather next week, thankfully. Have a good day, Cadre. 🙂

A nice, easy-peasy shave, as our friend @woodpusher likes to say. Speaking of our Canadian friend , I wonder if he’s growing himself a beard? My Michigan kin, some of them across the river from Detroit, tell me that all manly Canadians do. Yet another cold day here, though slightly better at 31F/-.5C. Have a super Friday, Cadre!

You know it’s wintertime in Pittsburgh when you check the temperature, see that it’s 36F/2C and think, “That’s not too bad.”

I’m spiffed up and ready to share decaf coffee, treats, and good conversation with friends this evening. It always makes for a quality Saturday night. 😊

Late shave tonight for a horrifically early 8am appointment tomorrow. 😧 I enjoyed the Steelers win today. NCAA games were disappointing to me - Penn St lost to Oregon, and SMU lost to Clemson. Oh well, such is life.

Back from my SECOND appointment this week. All is well. One more appointment tomorrow , video thankfully, and I’ll be off this whirlwind of activity. Yesterday I was at the audiologist to pick up my new hearing aids. These are much better than those that I got 2+ years ago. Very cool, intuitive, simple to use. Except for me, apparently, as I didn’t seat one properly in the charger last night. They’re now in the charger, so please don’t take it personally if you reply and I don’t respond. It means that I simply didn’t hear you.
