Not quite 0730, sun is up, but it's overcast with steady winds. It's lightly snowing, but the wind has it swirling so it looks heavier than it actually is, I believe. It drizzled all night, then the temps dropped drastically from 40F/4C to 20F/-7C There is a dusting of snow on our icy driveway. I am not going anywhere today. Will shave after breakfast. For those of you in heavy weather, stay safe!

We've been getting light flurries overnight and it was rain at 6:30 when I got up. As long as the temp doesn't drop quickly and flash-freeze the roads, we should be okay..... I hope.

Sweet, clean shave this morning. Temperature is now 8F/-13C, the wind has kept up but the snow has slowed down. Good day to stay indoors and sip coffee.

A fine shave with this setup. When I started wetshaving with traditional gear, I was looking for better shaves at a lower cost. Oh well, at least I'm getting better shaves now.

I stopped looking after purchasing the Vector. It's a flawlessly-designed SE AC, IMO. With it and my favorite DE, a 1946/7 gold-plated Aristocrat, my razor hunting is finished.

A floating head sounds appealing, but I just can't get past the O.O.'s bulky head. It extends beyond the length of the blade, and is thick. Vector is streamlined all the way around.

Thanks, Chris. I occasionally succumb to temptation, but try to keep it to a minimum. It's hard, especially surrounded by people going down every rabbit hole out there.
