Bang on! If that guy was a little older, a little balder, a little grayer and with some random hairs growing on top of his shoulders we'd be a dead ringer.
My wife IS a fan of OS (and is just as cute, if not more so
) so that part is pretty accurate...I do have a NOS Old Spice puck I'm waiting to use. I told myself I'd use it when I finish this darn Soap Commander Endurance, but it doesn't appear that will happen in a timely manner. I may just have to overload the OS experience and break it out.
I really do like the handle, particularly the color.

6 am shave, 7 pm report. Oh well.
First use of the TdH EdT. I've always loved the Fine L'Orange Noir...and now I know that it is a fine dupe of the original. The plastic bottled ASB will just get put in the dopp bag, methinks, as I'd rather have the Splash. I guess I didn't notice that it was a balm. Still a nice product. The Fine Classic Puck? Awesome.
I've had 3 very nice shaves with the Occams. A quality shaver for sure. Looking forward to moving on to a different razor for tomorrow morning.

I agree, on the razor, Jason! The Occam’s DE with the aggressive plate reminds me of my Eclipse Red Ring! The shave is very similar!

Well, my nose is notoriously unsophisticated, but here goes>
Is it high enough praise to say I wasn't disappointed? I had such high expectations after loving L'Orange Noir and I'm glad I was still taking in the subtleties hours later. There is a brightness (and depth) to the earthy notes that aren't as prevalent in some dupes (Arkadia comes to mind). What a scent. Another bit of good news is that I still want to reach for the L'Orange Noir soap...The Arkadia splash? Hmmm...not sure.

That works! It’s a heavy favorite for me…it’s flanker Eau Intense Vetiver is pretty dang good too…possibly better!

Shelved the Soap Commander and has a first use with this NOS Shulton puck this morning. This is an old one- has Early American in the lettering. From the 40s, it appears.
The good- a fantastic lather that exploded so easily. The bad- the puck has turned. I could tell the scent was ‘off’ but it really was noticeable when lathering. I was actually wondering if this was Musk or Leather or something, but they weren’t pucks. Then the rash started…I’m bummed, but it is what it is… In the end? An expensive mug.

Well…the best way I can describe it is it’s got the dark, dirty, rich TdH base with an added richer vein of warm, intense vetiver coming out to play. It’s pretty yummy!

That's very strange about the soap. Dry, crumbly, rock hard, yes, but "turned"? Maybe it was stored in a humid environment? Weird.November 11th

You don't hear about these old pucks going rancid very often - so sorry that however this one was stored resulted in an expensive OS mug
