You’re right…it should count as double!
This soap is almost 3x milled in its duration.

Started December off with the Supply. Such a smooth shaver with the Proline. The 2 Dot plate is just perfect for me. The 3 Dot is more efficient, but does lose some of the smoothness, imho. Inspired by @primotenore to reach for the American Blend. It doesn't get the fave status for me as it does for others, but still a very pleasant scent. I don't have much in the den (if any...) that I consider a better lather than these discontinued Fine tallow pucks from the Netherlands.

2.5 dot would be great! I'm happy with the 2 dot though, Sam. I will say this- the one that you are selling for Ed is very fairly priced. If I didn't have one, I'd jump on it.

That's a good point. I think that using up 4 soaps without quickly buying 4 replacements is the biggest reason there is more room in the cabinet, though...

Interesting about your shaves with the Supply. Do you enjoy Schick Injector shaves? I had numerous Schick shaves before the Supply and found the angles very instinctive.
As well, which plates did you have?

I had the v2 with all 3 plates. I love my Schick M shaves and even the newer Parker adjustable gives pretty good. With the Supply though I just couldn’t walk away without some irritation or a minor nick; the whole shave just felt unnecessarily rough. Could have been the razor I got had some bad symmetry from the molding process, but I didn’t really notice anything off hand.

L'Orange Noir is king for me as well. 2nd place? Hmm...I have Fresh Vetiver is splash only, but it really grew on me...Platinum and American Blend are quality dupes too....Fine banked on them for years...

Today, of those that I own, I'd go:

1. L'Orange Noir
2. Fresh Vetiver
3. American Blend
4. Platinum

I know Platinum has lots of fans...I like it too. I just think they have scents that appeal to me more.
I see they now have a dupe of Floid Blue in their new base. I love Blue, and would jump at that if they could find a way to produce a 3x milled tallow puck again. Alas, those days are gone for good, methinks.

I'm so glad that @Clint64 made this razor (and the blades, for that matter) available to me a year or two ago. Such a nice shaver. I was a fan of vintage Schick Injectors and had some favourite blades as well. This Supply SE is such a nice, heavy take on those great, old Schicks and the Proline works so well with it. Not having to move the Prolines over to a keyed injector cartridge is a bonus as well.

I enjoyed those too. At about $12/puck a super value, excellent lather, strong scents, and they last forever. What's not to like?
