2019 Shave # 68 ( 123 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate 5
Blade: Pol Silver SI (4)
Brush: Sorrentino Custom
Soap: CBL Ghost Pineapple
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
Aftershave 2: Avon Tai Winds

So I generally get my photo after deciding my shave and do my SOTD photo entries and peruse the forum some before actually going to do my shave. After a cup of coffee or 2 I go shave and then do my journal entry. Opening the Ghost Pineapple showed a colored liquid rolling around the edges of the bowl. I tried to mix as the soap is mushy and I started to wonder what was separated. Decided to hold off using it this morning until touching base with Chris and leaving the tub open to see if it dries it out some although I feel something is probably lost from the soap at that point. Wonder if it is the cooling agent or what ??? So I grabbed a recently acquired soap and balm. SC Drive which is Leather and Vetiver. Nice shave even if it wasn't what I was looking forward to. Still topped the balm off with some Tai Winds as the soap/balm scent is nice but light. Nice to be back in the new/old digs. Have a great day Cadre !!

That is weird for sure I am sure @CBLindsay will shed some light on it. My Ghost Pineapple sat a while and was NOT like that when I went back to it. As to Soap Commander The Drive is one my favorite scents from them!

Great updates!

General SS is good but ATT SE1 makes you think AC razors are not your thing? Curious! Reports I read are mostly that the SE1 is almost identical, perhaps a hair more efficiency and blade feel.

Glad the .84 GC did you good!

Yeah, it may have been the blade but don't need both and the general is my preference with the handle. SE1 head left for NY today to it's new owner. SE's may not be my thing which is why I'm hesitant to buy the Vector without trying it 1st.

I'll have to try to remember to check mine. It's been put up after only 1 or two uses.

2019 Shave # 69 ( 124 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Charcoal Goods Level 2
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Brush: Wire Brush Cheap Paint Brush
Soap: WSP Formula T - Ol' Kentucky
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
Aftershave 2: Pinaud Whiskey Woods

After much deliberation I decided NOT to use the wire brush. Tried to find something else but in the end all I could come up with was a cheap touch up paint brush from a pack. It was barely adequate but got the job done. Need to try the Formula T with a REAL shave brush to give it a chance andsee what it is like. Thanks Steve. Video in the VLOG section. Hope everyone has a great day !!

Great stuff Dave. Formula T is great soap.

And I agree the Down on the Farm was one the better custom titles even if he didn't know what I was referencing I at first.
