Another fantastic shave this morning. Great lather as usual, built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Star-Craft" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Ogallala "Bay Rum, Sage & Cedar" aftershave splash, and a dusting of Clubman talc.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Can't we just pick one time and stick with it?

Continued phenomenal lather from the Williams soap, built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the 40's Gillette Aristocrat and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Clubman "Virgin Island Bay Rum" aftershave splash, a dusting of Clubman talc and Hemingway Accoutrements "Nature Isle" EdP.

After Bruce's reprimand yesterday, I'm featuring three songs today. Hope you enjoy.
Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 39
Continued incredible shaves from the Williams soap. Excellent lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '61 Gillette Fatboy and I finished with a splash of Thayers cucumber witch hazel, followed by Castle Forbes "1445" aftershave balm, a dusting of Clubman talc and Castle Forbes "1445" EdP.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Better morning today. Was able to get enough sleep last night to compensate for the time change whiplash. No practice this week with the country band. A couple of the members have other things going on. Highs in the upper 70's today!! Some trees are starting to bud and the Bradford Pear trees are blossoming. Yes, today's shave was inspired by Dave's / @BarberDave pre dental visit shave yesterday. Called yesterday and got my colonoscopy scheduled. Yay!

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Temps are going to at or near 80° the next three days. Loving the warmth but we have storms moving in later on in the week. Not a great combination. I remember the tornado outbreak of 1974. Similar setup.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 41
Fantastic shave this morning. Uber thick & slick lather built with the RazoRock "Hive 24" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '49 Gillette Milord and I finished with a Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by a splash of Royall "Bay Rhum 57" aftershave lotion and Ogallala "Special Reserve Double-Strength Bay Rum" Cologne. Still a lot of soap left on this puck, perhaps enough for another month's worth of shaves. Been on a bit of a bay rum kick of late, Nothing wrong with that as nothing else says "Old School" quite like it.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Chance for rain and some storms today but the real event is still forecast for Saturday. Crystal continues to improve. The swelling has gone down and the incision is healing nicely.
