I "passed" a kidney stone that looked like that once.
Well, the VGK beat the Hockey Phillies last night but only after the defense tried to give the game away in the 3rd period. The Golden Knights have a "Goalie friendly" defense but every few games, they forget that strategy and nearly always give the other team a win. Luckily they remembered what they need to do and held on for a 5-3 win. But giving up 2 goals in only a few minutes is not a good look.
So.....I guess Brian owes me a mascot I don't want (really, no one wants that thing). Never fear @Scuttlesoap we'll see you in the playoffs.......oh wait....

Yeah, same thing happened to the Golden Knights. They played terrible in game one and got beat....came back for game 2 and played like they have for most of the season and gave the Jets a shalaqing. Now if they can keep that going....
Plus you have guys getting their face sliced open by skates and going back on the ice after getting 75 stitches!!! And a goalie taking a slapshot to the mask and getting a cut over his eye that a trainer closed with superglue!!!! And the goalie went right back out!!!!

Round 2 starts ......soon!! My Vegas Golden Knights are up against Conner McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers have had Vegas's number for most of the team history so this is going to be the tough round for the VGK path to the Cup. I'm hopeful (ya gotta be) that the way the team has been playing that they can finish off the Oilers in 6......but this round will probably go all 7 games. It going to be exciting and nerve wracking.
Wow.......Gotta love Playoff hockey.
If someone had spiked Draisaitl into the corner on the first shift.....the Vegas Golden Knights would have had a shutout against the Oilers. Vegas contained McDavid (which isn't easy) and his few scoring chances were knocked away easily....but with his teammate scoring all 4 Oilers goals!!! So now the VGK need to keep an extra close eye on him for the rest of the series. But the other wow moment was Vegas had 11 players get points last night!!! If they can keep that up....good times ahead. Go Knights Go!!
