Awesome, was your Dad in the Air Force?
My Dad served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was stationed in the Aleutian Islands where he was the company baker and part of a three-man machine gun team. My Sister has his Army cookbooks. The recipes were sized for 250 men. He shared all the funny Army stories with us, but I'm sure there were stories he did not share. I had other Uncles that served around the world during WWII and Korea. I believe they were all in the Army, except for my Bride's uncle who served in the U.S. Navy on convoys that escorted merchant ships. I have a brother-in-law that served in the U.S. Air Force as a communications officer and instructor during Viet Nam. He enlisted right out of HS, served 20 years, and made it to Captain. You 3017'd a jar in a Month?!?! LOL
