If you have to do something...

It’s about time for the Bay Rum ... Argh!
Aye matey! Thank ye!
Nice shave Chris and way to stay positive in light of the snafu
Thanks Dave!
We and my parents have had similar experiences with take out recently. I think more people are getting comfortable with take out and some places doing outdoor dining is stretching their staff.
Yea usually I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I’m sure that’s a factor. Smaller staff pools from layoffs and longer/more shifts for those left. Tried not to make too huge of a fuss.
At least the manager did right by you. Happy (belated) anniversary, Chris.
Indeed! It was a very nice gesture, since I didn’t ask for it.
Nice read Chris! I'm glad everything worked out for dinner, but I'm sorry for the long wait and drive! Have a good one!
Thanks Pat!

Shave #224 (424 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Gillette NEW LC, Astra SP blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, CBL Money tonsorial soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Speick AS, Roman Chamomile/Cinnamon/Lime EOs, Pinaud Citrus Musk, and Jean Phillipe 1 Million clone to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 149:

Early wake up for work this morning. Showered n shaved up. Couldn’t let Dave have all the fun, so I brought out the NEW LC to play. 3 decent passes on the perfectly slick tonsorial base got me where I wanted to be. Nice scattergun array of fresh scents to close up the shave.

Working today and tomorrow at least, then Sunday. Not sure what the shifts hold beyond getting stuff ready for Sunday. In the weirdness of the summer so far, we’ve gotten everything that needed to be done done and then some.

Lots of 100s popped up on the weather report for the week in the last couple of days. That doesn’t bode well for outdoor service.

Have a great Tuesday all!

It wouldn't bode well to let Dave have ALL the fun.

Man, it's weird alright, all the uncertainty must be frustrating in your line of work. I feel lucky that I transitioned from teaching live a year or so back, or I'd be going bonkers.

I forget how hot it gets up there, though I actually kind of like it.

Ended up spending most of the day stripping floor finish and getting stuff stacked up and ready to transfer to the building nearest the outdoor area the service will be in.

Yea, frustration usually revolves around people waiting to make decisions until last minute, then expecting the same level of results. I try to push folks to make them sooner when I can, doesn’t always work though.
Very nice. I had the New LC on deck today as well. Have a great day!
Thanks Tim!
I already presented a solution to this situation which you poo-poo’d 🤪
😜
AAAH I get it "Paper Clip".... "Paqui Chip" It rhymes So you eating the chip or clip, either way we need a video
Oh Dave...at least you’re constantly insistent :ROFLMAO:

I took a break for awhile, but now full steam ahead

Shave #225 (424 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Schick M adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, Stirling Hipster soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Stirling Hipster AS, and Baccarat Rouge clone oil to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 150:

I’m up, I’m up!

A nice, mild shave with a good setup to wake me up. Face probably needed the mild razor for a day to get a little break. Are my razor blade-feel tastes changing? Maybe. I used to shave daily with a Fatip Piccolo for goodness sake.

Hoping we can get all the prep work done for Sunday today so we don’t have to come in tomorrow or Friday. I think we should be able to.

Have a great Wednesday all!
