Glenn, so good to see you buddy and have a safe/fun time in Central America. I need the restraint for myself where I am in my journey but understand everyone is at a different stage or place in theirs. How will I manage if I can't drool over your newest purchased Soap/ Aftershave posts here? The Moka is the synthetic one.Congrats on the new pooch. Dogs are such a pleasure.
I was wondering which Yaqi Moka Express that brush is. Your last picture shows which one and it is the same Yaqi I have with the synthetic bristles. There is a 26 with badger that they have made as well. I will be taking mine on our annual trip to Central America later this month along with my trusty Rockwell 6S that I travel with--not as fancy as yours but it does the job.
Your comments in the prior shave video (shave No. 7) re not chasing every new thing struck me as very apropos. When I got back to Florida in November, I went a little nuts buying all the newest soaps and a few aftershaves. So now I have most of the newest, latest, most greatest soaps that I wanted (except for a example of Declaration Grooming Milksteak) and I am having a hard time fitting this newest batch of stuff in my RV. Ironically, yesterday I revisited a soap I have had for nearly a year and absolutely loved it--Grooming Dept Barbershop. Yes, the new stuff is great but so is the older stuff. So maybe its time for me to slow it way down and use what I have. Yeah, I think so.
