Shave # 345 ( 398 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Wizamet (5)
Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: CBL Tonsorial "V is for Vetiver" BANNED
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Nivea 2 in 1 Splash
Fragrance: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver

Shaved with V is for Vetiver. Scent to light for me to really pick up but a nice shave. The brush shed like a wet dog as expected being new and was rough. I know it will be nice when broken in............................just the process to get there is the obstacle. Have a great day Cadre !!

My Stirling boar shed a couple of bristles for about 4 shaves. Past few shaves have not shed at all. It's fast becoming my favorite boar brush.

My Stirling boar shed for a couple of weeks. It finally stopped and I reach for it the most.
My Stirling boar is as of yet still unpurchased. Nice pic Dave ;)
Thanks guys, I had more than a dozen shed hairs today but I know that it's normal. Just have to power thru the break in period till it stops shedding and some hairs split to soften it up.

It might just be mine, but it took a really long time for it to break in, but I also didn't have a regular rotation...and nothing has changed. 🤣 Have a good one, Dave!

Classy shaves Dave! I have a Zenith Professional 28mm boar set in the copper handle and it has been fighting the break in forever. Great brush but huge wall-o-boar.

Shave # 346 ( 399 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Wizamet (6)
Brush: Stirling Boar (2)
Soap: Stirling Texas on Fire
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Stirling Texas on Fire
@Joe Hackett

Shave 2 with the Stirling boar felt noticeably softer..........not really soft but not like a wire brush soft so softer than shave 1. Only 8-9 shed hairs today so an improvement there as well. I already can tell this when broke in and when shedding stops is going to be a favorite boar. The Texas on Fire is a winner for me to replace the WCS Campfire. It's a little sweeter scent which while not my preference is still a good fire/smoke scent. I prefer the straight up campfire scent of the WCS Campfire but Stirlings scent is close enough and combined with the WAY better soap base of Stirling makes it a winner for now. Have a stellar day Cadre !!
