2019 Shave # 282 ( 335 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Gillette Red Tip
Blade: Wizamet (3)
Brush: Wolf Whisker w/Black Wolf Knot
Soap: WCS Campfire
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Aqua Velva

Been thinking about camping and so pulled the campfire scent soap. I love the scent which to me isn't overpowering. Just enough to smell like sitting near the campfire. Got a great shave using the Redtip with a Wizamet blade. Topped everything off with the Humphrey's and Aqua Velva to put the fire out. See what did there................................We went 39 days without rain and nearly the whole state was under a burn ban. Finally got some rain overnight and will throughout the day today. Hopefully we'll get enough rain up till camping to lift the ban so we can have a campfire and dry weather while camping. Long work day today but ready to kick this pig. Have a great day Cadre !!

I ordered a camp fire soap from another company. Hoping to find something that comes close to that one.

2019 Shave # 285 ( 338 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Wizamet (6)
Brush: Sorrentino Sea Foam
Soap: Meissner Tremonia Exotic Elimi
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Sweet Comb Chicago

Got this soap on a trade and it has an interesting scent that I can't describe because it's light and all but gone during the shave anyway. Here's their description "Scent - A whiff of the exotic Java elemi, from Asian elemi resin and Javanese canaga blossom oil. Woody, peppery, citrusy" The lather was nice and got a good shave although I find it a little too airy for me. Probably a good soap to use as a bath bar so as not to waste it. Not bad, just not one I'll grab to use much if at all.

After getting home from work yesterday I finished removing the wall that will be moved for the larger shower unit. Trying to force myself out the door for a longer day of work. Have a great day Cadre !!!

Ummm, huh?

Power through the day Dave!

IKR?

Elemi - Similar to frankincense and muhuhu, both in botanical terms and in terms of smell, elemi is not thick and deep like familiar amber mixes. The overall scent of elemi can best be typified in perfume lingo as "terpenic", an aroma typified by fresh pine needles, clean, green with citrusy and coriander undertones.

Cananga - is a tropical tree native to Southeast Asia. ... Today, cananga essential oil has been deemed as having its own olfactory qualities. It has a strong floral character and jasmine and woody facets. In Indonesia, cananga is mainly found on the island of Java, which has a monopoly on distillation of the flowers.
