Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Nice shave Dave! Increasing the shave storage along with the bathroom resize? ;)

I'd like to know who first thought "muhuhu" would make for good lather?
I think about that a lot too. Especially with some unique foods...”Man, how desperate was the first person to say ‘that looks edible’ and try and eat that?” :ROFLMAO:

2019 Shave # 286 ( 339 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Schick E 300 Mag Injector
Blade: Schick (4)
Brush: @Graydog Custom Synthetic
Soap: Declaration Grooming Dirtyver
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Fragrance: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver

Busy day got busier when I had an unexpected leak to fix. Late day shave at @2:45 so just a 2 pass since I'll be shaving again in the morning just over 12 hours later. Got a Dirtyver sample awhile back so when I was offered it as a trade for one of my soaps, I jumped at the chance to get it. Great soap and scent. Have a great day Cadre............what's left of it anyway !!

That Dirtyver sounds divine!

Thanks Chris ! Nope, this is the Master Bathroom. Shave Den is in spare bathroom ;)
Just do what the politicians do and porkbarrel it all into the bill for the master...$600 for a hammer, $451.99 for a new faucet seal, that new toilet seat lid is at least a good $298!

😂 😂 It's more like cut back spending to get the remodel done with cash rather than a loan and the new truck engine happens in a couple weeks while we are camping. It pains me to think of all my shaving cash going to such practical nonsense 🤪

Humphrey's is my standard like others use Witch Hazel and I usually have a matching fragrance aftershave as well. The other day when I skipped the 2nd was out of the ordinary (y)
Ah, ok, I didn't realize #1 was a wh. I use a splash of unscented wh after my shave and before my AS too. I also sneak some alum in before the wh. The more, the merrier . . . .

Nice setup sir! I hope you enjoyed the Blu. I received your Rossa sample, thank you very much. I’m on my way to St. Louis, so I have to wait to use the Rossa.
