Words of wisd..... Yeah right.... We all know better than that!

Got a minute to say hi everybody and I'm still around.
Kitchen is done, baby shower is done, trips to the kids house to do trim in her kitchen and fix major holes in the upcoming baby's room is done, 2 weeks of being the boss at work is very thankfully done, and work in the shop has actually started up again and going well so far.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Ugh... the upcoming grandbaby is giving me grey hairs already and she's not even here yet.
Spent Thursday night and Friday at the hospital 80 miles away for all sorts of testing and monitoring of the baby and the step daughter. She has pre-eclampsia. She is out of the hospital, but under very heavy monitoring. Baby is healthy at 4 pounds 3 ounces.
Hopefully her mom can keep it together and cook her a bit more. I guess they don't like to take them out earlier than 37 weeks and she is currently 33 weeks. But... they are still healthy. I am thankful for that.

You’ll have to play “Layla” by Derek and the Dominoes at her birthday parties. Tell everyone it’s Grandpa’s treat.

Been a little while.
Let's see, traded in the '15 equinox that had emissions issues and major cancer thanks to the salty roads half the year. Got a '21 kia xs turbo sportage all wheel drive with 40,000 miles on it and an extended warranty.
Made another 3 hour trip to take the grandbaby to the dr.s and another one coming up next week. They found a shadow in her kidney and want to do a dye test to make sure urine isn't seeping back from the bladder.
She is growing fast.
Chrissy's father passed Saturday unexpectedly. He had some health issues, but seemed ok the day before.
Been shaving and working. Fogot to take some pictures today while I was up 40 feet in a shakey lift plasma cutting and welding for some sensors in the exhaust stack.
But, here is one of the munchkin to make up for it.

The munchkin is at 2 months and 9 pounds!

Work has been fairly normal. Made a new collar for the 14 inch saw blades on the trimmer since the old one was worn and a bit out of round. Had to machine a taper into it and a step for the blade to sit with a half a thousands tolerance.
Might be making a new roll for our one glue wheel. Quote on a replacement was $3800. I already have the 42 inches of 5 inch diameter steel and they are paying me to be there anyway...

Shaving has been normal boring. Been sticking mostly with my 6s unless I skipped a few days. Then I'll go to "the butcher". (Timeless open comb with the .95mm gap)
Actually can see glass in my MDC Fougere tub. I got that shortly before this site started, so it's been a while.

And of course, here is the munchkin!

Well I was going to try and get a picture of the new car to post.
Finally got around to it this morning....

Seems like I can never catch a break. Finally getting my crap together, beautiful wife, got my head out of my rearend and have my finances together, finally happy, trying to make things better for the both of us and get something new and some jacka$$ can not get it through his head that you STOP at a stop sign NOT accelerate!
Wonderful kick in the teeth to start the morning.....

Man, I’d be pissed. Someone rear ended me while I was waiting at a red light. Insurance doesn’t always help. 😕
