Going to make a cheese plate out of glass decorated with grapes and vines while I’m up here. First step is to make the grapes. Cut up small squares of glass and fired them in a table top kiln to turn them into smooth circles to use.

1st “tack” firing is done. All the glass pieces are stuck together.

Now a mold is put into the kiln to form it into a shallow plate at a lower temp firing.
