There's a girl in our neighborhood who got a tortoise. Well she came by the door the other day asking if she can pick my dandelions because they are a treat for her tortoise. I never unlocked my back gate so quickly before in my life! So @woodpusher find someone who has a tortoise... problem solved!

My Aunts and Grandmother used to make terrific salads out of dandelion greens. You gotta get them before they get too big and bitter.
Sometimes they boiled them down and served them with beans. Cooked in leftover grease from bacon and various meats.

Just off the highway while I wait for my wife after work. Going on for over an hour; smoke is much lighter than earlier. A tractor trailer drop-off yard. Apparently 8 empty trailers and 5 cars burned out.
