The magic of these cats playing (to an all white audience) in this live performance is amazing to both see and hear!
...and the sweat dripping off of Horace by the end of his solo (which is out of this world) is evidence of his shear intensity!

But more importantly, he knows how to surround himself with the best musiciaans possible and, of cource, is a natural "performer"!

Check out this interesting blend of Lee Morgan's "The Sidewinder" played under the melody of Sonny & Cher's "And the Beat Goes On"!

I don't know if this was Mr. Gloldblum's idea or someone else in the band, but it works quite well!
