I get my best deals at Ace Hardware if you have one nearby. You can also check classifieds, but then you might have to cut it down smaller.

Wondering if there's a better way to cook these than just baked and topped with butter, salt and pepper. View attachment 122098

You can puree to make it a sweet or savory soup. It will work well.

Some stuff I had the past few days.

Pork with homemade peach pepper jam, hot sausage, roasted potatoes and onions, homemade pita bread, arugula salad.

This dish is legit.

Pan fry some hot sausage. Second half of the cook, I threw in some onions and let it finish cooking. Took the sausages out once done. Added some beef broth to deglaze the pan. Threw in some spicy tomato sauce. Let that simmer and turn into delicious goodness.

Boiled some orecchiette.

Sliced the sausage and added to the sauce. Also added some arugula to lightly cook in the sauce.

Added the orecchiette and some pasta water.

Topped off with 24 month aged parmigiano reggiano and ground pepper.
