A couple nights ago, we had a faux Thanksgiving meal with some of the basics - Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. I’m not big on that stuff (prefer ham during the holidays honestly) but what so am big on is the much loved post-Thanksgiving Turkey Ring meal! We did a practice run tonight!

Tri tip with peas, and my first attempt at a recreation of red lobsters Biscuits. Came very close on the Biscuits. Needs a bit more old bay seasoning next time. But not a bad first attempt.

Made "fake chipotle" bowls last night. Basically slow cooker black beans and a whole chicken, with chipotle peppers and adobo sauce crammed under the skin for flavor. Cook all the veggies and rice when its time to eat. NOM!
