@Dave in KY hello neighbor! Think I claimed my plot sometime in 2014 but somehow you're closer to the distillery! I smell a conspiracy!

I could probably get that done.We need some nerd with mapping software to plot all our plots.
I'm a Bourbon guy too and Right now I prefer the Monkey Shoulder over the Laphroaig 10 I'm trying at the momentView attachment 33720
I am a Bourbon fan. Scotch doesn't usually do much for me. This one is not bad. The peat is in the background of it. I find it to be drinkable.
I'm seeing that.1st sip neat was like water poured into an ashtray and then drank it.@dkeester @Dave in KY to be fair, jumping into Laphroaig 10 is quite the leap into Scotch! I started with Famous Grouse, then "standars" single malts like Glenfiddich and Macallan, then finally the peaty wonders of Islay!
Not in the mood to be smacked in the face with a campfire log?I'm a Bourbon guy too and Right now I prefer the Monkey Shoulder over the Laphroaig 10 I'm trying at the moment
Clearly I should have researched more and worked my way up. I just went all in apparentlyNot in the mood to be smacked in the face with a campfire log?
Save it for the middle of winterClearly I should have researched more and worked my way up. I just went all in apparently
I have tried several different Scotches from Laphroig, Dalwhinnie, Hyland Park, Glenfiddich, Glendronach, Auchentoshan, Balvenie, Glenmorangie, Glenlivet, Chivas Regal, Johnny Walker, Famous Grouse, Monkey Shoulder, and a few others that I can't recall. (There is a very nice whiskey bar near my house that does flights of various whiskeys.) I can definitely appreciate the quality of those whiskies. However, I vastly prefer bourbon.@dkeester @Dave in KY to be fair, jumping into Laphroaig 10 is quite the leap into Scotch!
