Le Galion Sang Bleu (2022 version)
Continuing my comparison to the reformulated 2022 version with my original 2016. First test was head to head, so I had both on at the same time at some point. There was a clear difference, enough to make it feel worth exploring.
Yesterday was the OG, loved it, there's something in the musty incensy dry down that takes me to the time I spent in a monastery.
Today it's the reformulation, and it's much more classically aromatic masculine, which is sort of my grail thing, and it's nailing it for me. But the big surprise is were the dry down is, which is essentially niche Floid Blue. Now that stuff was my gateway drug into aftershaves and now fragrances, and still one of my personal all time favorite scents.
Needless to say, I'm anxiously awaiting my bottle.
