What Fragrance Did You Use Today?

Yesterday, and new to me,
Amouage Bracken Man
I found a made in Oman bottle at a reasonable price, unbelievably, and my god is this stuff good. More on it later when I have a chance to take some decent pics, but very much in the vein of Tom Ford Beau de Jour only 100% more refined and smooth. For sure you need to like clove, which is why I wanted it, I love clove and classic fougeres.

Today, and another I need to take a pic of even though I’ve had it for a while.
Les Abstraits Des Cendres
Ok it’s a YouTuber frag, but it’s really good, if you like things like vintage Polo or Aramis Devin. Very well made, and updated just enough not to feel outdated, just like the Amouage.

Great double header for this end of summer weekend.

Ricardo Ramos Perfume de Autor - Papá
Lovely old meets new school green fougere. Opens with a blast of dihydromyrcenol with a slight touch of animals, to my nose it's like indolic jasmine, that slowly dries down to a gorgeous incense along the lines of Dragons-blood. There is coincidentally a blood note (you have to read the back story to see why) which I picked up after the first hour, but it's very nice, adding a little metallic touch.

Happy with this blind buy, and can see this coming out quite often as the transition from classic 80's fougere to incense really makes it a nice wear.
