This is one I want to love, but there's a note in mine that I really can't handle. It's a bummer because the rest of the scent is stellar. Have to find the courage to give it another go and see if that note has withered with age.

With LG having this on sale, I wanted to give it a test, and it lives up to my memory. Of course it's a cologne, but it really has legs, and feels almost opulent for a cologne. Opening is your standard classic cologne, but clearly with top notch execution, then it morphs into a beautiful jasmine like base. The brief says
Top notes | Bitter orange, bergamot, lemon, eau de brouts
Heart notes | Juniper berries, angelica root
Base notes | Clary sage, honeysuckle, galbanum
So maybe it's the honeysuckle that gives the floral quality, but in any case, it's really a top drawer cologne. But being what it is, it's only for connoisseurs of the genre. Still at 50% off, it was a no brainer to hit the add to cart button.
