What Fragrance Did You Use Today?

Lorenzo Villoresi - Musk
After getting into masculine rose scents this year, I decided to circle back around to my sample of this after being reminded of it by some friends on Basenotes, and by golly, it might be the best of them all. In the same vein as Czech and Speake #88, and Domenico Caraceni 1913. A little more powdery, a softer, dirtier musk (but not dirty by any means) and just stunning sandalwood dry down.
Need to get this, and it's often found at discount, at least here.

Pierre Guillaume - Sorong
Saffron and incense. Very realistic saffron note, with that wonderful subtle almost plastic aspect in tact. Saffron as a spice is quite subtle but as a fragrance note it can be very domineering. Here due the the use of incense notes, it feels more balanced, and is without doubt my favorite saffron centre scent, as Pierre always manages to be accessible without being cliche.
The very deep dry down is my favorite part though, when I get it, it's just the quintessential incense scent for me, and what compelled me to get it, even though I didn't enjoy the saffron side as much.
I also think I got lucky with my bottle, and believe it's an older batch, as the incense comes out much more from the get go compared to my sample. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Le Galion - Eau Noble
Quintessential masculine chypre. Really nothing more to say, it's just really good.
I have no idea why the house decided to release another totally different fragrance (a very modern, almost bog standard woody scent) and rename this one. But I suppose they have to do what helps them sell bottles. Whatever they call this now, it's one of the best of it's kind I've tried.
