Cat’s Eye Distillery...apparently aged in used 4 Roses Barrels....never heard of them but they apparently go for $115 USD and are sold out. Be interested where this little Iowa distillery sources their Canadian Whiskey....be careful though...at 72% ABV....it makes my 66% Alberta Springs Rye look tame...

It’s was a tasting. Different rules.
No kidding. I shacked up with a Scottish lassie who stopped me from pouring spoiled milk down the drain. She went on to demonstrate how you can use it for cooking that very same evening. And much to my surprise it was quite good.

So an ancient bottle of JW Gold Label 18 from a better time. Went to take off the cork and it being as old as it was, the cork split. A funnel, strainer and some patience. Well I always did want to fill that crystal decanter with something special…cheers cadre.
