What are you drinking tonight?

Thought this was interesting enough to share.
It's also the title to a Bluegrass classic I played in my youth:

There’s a big hollow tree down the road here from me
Where you lay down a dollar or two
You stroll ’round the bend and you come back again
There’s a jug full of good old mountain dew

They call it that mountain dew
And them that refuse it are few
I’ll hush up my mug if you fill up my jug
With that good old mountain dew

My uncle Mort, he’s sawed off and short
He measures about four foot two
But he thinks he’s a giant when you give him a pint
Of that good old mountain dew

Well, my old aunt June bought some brand new perfume
If had such a sweet smelling pew
But to her surprise when she had it analyzed
It was nothing but good old mountain dew

Well, my brother Bill’s got a still on the hill
Where he runs off a gallon or two
The buzzards in the sky get so drunk they can’t fly
From smelling that good old mountain dew

And therein lies the difference between the supermodel and the agent.

Supermodel .... BBQ striploin and wine
Agent ................. veggie burgers and rooibos tea
Come on Sam we’re good! I have space ala social distancing! Mucho vino (sorry to the veg heads) and plenty of meat to grill!!! You and Grace always welcome here!

@NurseDave the Rioja is very nice but if you are looking for a “low acidity” wine this one isn’t it. It is a fantastic wine and for a 2005 vintage it still has a lot of kick to it. Cut right through grilled steaks and peppers with a topper of black beans and rice. Tasty but you’ll know it’s a Rioja! Now maybe we open the second one... :sneaky:

No sir. My wife at most will have 2 glasses. Usually just one.
Brochacho we buy them in pairs (at minimum) and we open them in pairs usually. We love wine...though the bride does blame me for the love of wine! Oh well, thank the Lord she doesn’t drink Scotch!!
