Yeah, I was kind of in a hurry to put that together. Knew I didn't label it, but figured I'd just do that here when you got it. It's Bootlegger's Bay Rum. Standard Recipe. You kept posting about your barbershop bayrum, so I thought you'd like it. Hope you enjoy that and the soap. Both Chad and I find that soap to be Elite!

Yep, I have a tub of it now that I'll add that to or save as a sample to send out to someone.

Got a Tonsorial off the bay and another coming so up to 1 semi-vintage and 2 vintage. Comfortable enough to use 1 soon now.

 

This stuff smells amazingly great.

Soap Scent Profile: Wormwood, Hungarian Oak, Absinthe, Neroli, Amyris, Elderberry, Burnt Sugar, Tobacco, FEAR Absolute.
 
I've been so impressed with my Prewar Fat Handle Tech that I bought a second one from @DaveinKy a couple of weeks ago to give to my son. I'm also really enjoying my Aristocrat Jr. & Rocket HD, both made in England by Gillette. So if I like the Tech so much, & British made Gillettes, why not get a made in England Fat Handle Tech? So that's what came in the mail today, along with a few other little goodies from the seller.

First shave coming later today.

I have been hunting a back up bottle of the Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 because it is SOOOOO hard to find that one and not one of the other versions they have. Same seller on the bay and amazon must be a drop shipper and have had 3 busted purchases. So I reached out to Gus who is the one that got me hooked like a drug pusher ? an asked f he could get me 1 local to him and let me pay him to ship. He generously shipped me 1 bottle of the juice and 2 soaps to try (see drug pusher ???) He refuses letting me pay for it. Thanks a bunch Gus ! You're the man !!!

Not to be lost in all the excitement of The Holy Black release, there was a Halloween release from Russel at Wild West Shaving Co. as well!



Scent notes are: Patchouli, Leather, Black Currant, Wood, Smoke

This is another complex and delicious scent profile from Russell, and jumps into the top among his scents for me. I will be giving this one a whirl soon after I put Jeckyll and Hyde through its paces.

Whoa! Florida Water soap??? I didn't know that existed. Need to get some Humphrey's also. Man, I need to find a store like Gus shops at!
