These arrived from Sorrentino Brushworks today. I am very happy with how they turned out. @Smattayu does great work! Now to get the knots set (they are just sitting in there for the photos.).

Ya, temp was the major factor to be able to keep a steady 69-70 degrees. Especially when we are flying to close to the Sun in June LOL

Ya, temperature and humidity is a real challenge in a normal humidor here to keep at 70/70.

This very nice Lüer near wedge came in with a set of nice CHUNKY ivory, with a lead wedge, which was a very nice surprise! You don’t often seen pins with washers on ivory. So, I thought they were bone at first, but the light schreger lines and lack of foramen holes(where blood vessels and nerves pass through bone) convinced me that they are ivory.

Should clean up easily with the buffing wheel, the black stuff is only skin deep. I really love the aggressive jimps on this one, super cool 1860-70’s likely German razor.

I gave up straights a few years ago. Too much maintenance required and I was a sub-par honer extraordinaire!
