I’ve always been tempted by the SE1 since the Brass General went the way of the dodo...just never convince myself to pull the trigger though.

@Soap Thing you are very welcome. I don't know much about the ATT Windsor SE1 but curious to know how it compares to the Hawk. Let us know your thoughts after you try it out.

the Newbies to my shave den today are soaps. For those of you that love bourbon- the Honey Mash is going to be right up your alley. The other two have a nice splash of citrus…all three smell fantastic and I’m looking forward to taking them for a spin.

Received an Atoma 400 Diamond plate, for flattening my stones. It replaced a worn out DMT Coarse. So far, I'm very satisfied with it's speed and consistently, especially on very hard stones.

Yes, this is definitely my experience so far. My DMT had some raised pieces that liked to scratch my stones. The Atoma is very consistent and I don't find any extra little scratches.
