I’m not sure how easy it is to find Genco blades up in your neck of the woods but if you can find an old Genco in the wild or on eBay for a few buck (under $10?) grab it and practice honing that’s, it will reward you greatly. I’ll be doing some den cleaning soon enough and I know I can mail to Canada for about $9 so I can definitely find a razor or two (maybe even a gold dollar that has been honed already) that can be sent your way.

There are videos out there on modding Gold Dollars to fix the geometry issues. You just need a Dremel and the right attachments.

Quite the score! May I ask what you paid for the razor & case? Because I believe what you have is a 1916 Old Type Aristocrat! It's missing one of the blade banks, but that's quite a score my friend! Congratulations!

That's what I'm counting on. Scent is very important to me, but performance is king. Heard nothing but praise for CF splashes.
