Sure thing. I actually started my wet shaving journey with a Gold Dollar. Just wanted to make sure you were aware so if you have issues with that one it may not be you.

I’m not sure how easy it is to find Genco blades up in your neck of the woods but if you can find an old Genco in the wild or on eBay for a few buck (under $10?) grab it and practice honing that’s, it will reward you greatly. I’ll be doing some den cleaning soon enough and I know I can mail to Canada for about $9 so I can definitely find a razor or two (maybe even a gold dollar that has been honed already) that can be sent your way.
