What’s new to you?

Neatafoot oil? Never heard of it. Sorry to hijack this if it's common knowledge, but could I ask you to elaborate?

Those dropper bottles do look nice, btw. [emoji846]
neatsfoot oil is rendered from cattle shin bones, quite fitting it is used to condition strops. a little goes a long way on most strops but when you are doing old strop rehab there’s nothing better than good old fiebings.

Very nice. I have a Gillette Senator, it’s a great shaver.
I'm not an OC guy, so it's more out of general knowledge / curiosity than anything else, but is the senator a mild shaver or an aggressive shaver?

I'm sure they're long sense made, so however old that one is @dmshaver got an awesome one indeed.

That's a pretty one Dave
Thank you
Thank you Uncle Eddie

Thank you, I've enjoyed it so far

I've used it for a couple of shaves so far, & am enjoying it. I enjoy the open comb vintage gillettes. I don't like a screaming aggressive razor. I like the smoothness & efficiency of the 2 piece RFB, followed by the '34 Aristocrat, Goodwill #160, NEW DeLuxe, & '36 Aristocrat. After just a couple of shaves, the "too early to have an opinion" opinion (LOL!) is the Senator is between the Goodwill & NEW DeLuxe. I consider the NEW Deluxe the most blade feel aggressive of the OC razors I have. But the RFB takes smoothness to another level & therefore the aggressiveness is tamed & the resulting shaves are nirvania. And in case someone reads this & thinks this is an absolute truth for all: YMMV!

Psst! It's Cousin Eddie, lol. [emoji16]

Received my brand new (to me) game changer, with Halo handle and both plates. Got my first shave tonight with the 68. Wow, that was smooth! I'd say it's about as efficient as my Rockwell on 3, and as smooth as the Rockwell on 2. I think I'm going to like this razor.

Also received and shaved with a brand new tub of mystic Waters ginger cranberry pear. I have to say, it's a lot sweeter and less "gingered" than I thought. In fact, I really don't smell or feel any ginger. Oddly enough the label only says ginger pear, however it should just say cranberry pear. Still, it'll likely be a good spring scent. [emoji846]

One of our holiday traditions from my parents are advent calendars. My mom made big cloth wall hangings with 25 different sized pockets and every year they send 25 little wrapped gifts for them. Well this year my wife got a fountain ink advent calendar for her birthday so my parents ordered me something different as well.
