What’s new to you?

Also if anyone (maybe @Spider )has tips on cleaning up vintage glass bottles to be used again let me know.
I start with hot water and dishsoap, let soak for a few hours..... then I switch to scrubbing bubbles. I fill it with the foam and let it die down to a liquid and repeat a few times, usually until the bottle is half full. THen I fill the rest of the way with water and let it soak for a day. If you have a bottle brush small enough that works wonders. I will aslo use pipe cleaners to get down inside. Last resort, if there is buildup that you can't get off is to put a bunch of salt and baking soda in the bottle, then just enough water to create a thin slurry. You don't want it to completely dissolve. Then shake the bottle and the abrasives should handle most of it. If it's calcium deposits, filling with vinegar and sitting for a couple days will help as well. But some bottles are just stained, and none of that will help.

Well, I came home from work yesterday and just about had a mini Christmas!

First was my consolation prize from @Dave in KY ...so glad it wasn’t the Veg, I was worried, lol. I took a good long sniff of both and I’m actually pretty amazed at how close they smell to the originals from the bottle!

Next was my bag of goodies from @CBLSoap.com / @CBLindsay ! Wow these things were packed to the lid! My SIR Fougere and Money tonsorials, then my Cherry Blossom & Bamboo and Fresh Vetiver soaps. Then true to form, Chris packed in more extras - a tub of the coveted Bingo Bomb soap (smells great, love pina colada smell) and...uh...this hunk of grey stuff (I assume it to be some kind of preshave block in his charcoal base?) ! :ROFLMAO: Thanks Chris!

The about half a week ago, I had asked a friend of my wife’s who sells some essential oils to send along a list of what oils she has in stock, I got that and she also mixed up some huge samplers for me to have fun with! Some good smelling stuff here!

A few things came in today.

First is my Streamlight Sidewinder Compact II. I put it on my radio strap where I think it'll be most useful. You can also see my Leatherman Raptor Shears, which are very useful and handy where they are on my strap; they've been getting a lot of use lately.

Next is my @CBLSoap.com order. I hate that I've never smelled Roasted Oatmeal Stout before today. Jeris has a light, pleasant scent to my nose. And I can't really smell Money too well right now for whatever reason.

Last but not least is my newest brush from Heritage Collection Shaving. C-MON Deluxe 77-4, with a 26mm SHD fan badger knot. This thing is gorgeous. I've been emailing back and forth with Niel, the owner, and he's got a couple of cool things coming out soon, some very cool replicate vintage, if that makes sense, brushes.

Packaging: Nothing overly good or bad.
