What’s new to you?

He has 2 black handle super speeds 67 and 69 from his sister that passed away and an old made rite brush he came by he'd like to use. I'm going to clean/disinfect the razors and get him some blades. Also have a new knot coming to redo the brush for him. He assures me he'll use these when done. Also getting a puck of soap for a mug he has.

A few exciting things today!

My Purely Skinful Handmade Essentials came in from Canada. I'm not a super big fan of Connesiour because of how chocolate forward it is to my nose. It's not bad, just a little rich for me. I like Barbearshop a whole lot more. It certainly smells like a barbershop scent. Matching balms of course. I'll have to take a crack at figuring out what the mystery sample is when I get some spare time.




@Majorrich's prize for being closest to his weight gain during his cruise. It lights up and flashes my favorite color...blue. If you couldn't guess, I love flashing lights. Thank you for the cool gift, Rich. Also, what the hell did you put in this cup to make it smell so good?

I am now the owner of a '34 Aristocrat, the first year Gillette came out with the tto. I'll be anxious to shave with it & compare to the '36 Aristocrat which is the other OC aristocrat. But more importantly, at least to me, how does it compare to my favorite razors the RFB & Goodwill.

So today I got my 1st Wolf Whiskers brush thru a trade

Got it yesterday while I was away.



Scent is really good. To me it's a spicy kind of bay rum. When applied I get a smack of vanilla that fades right in and blends nicely. The application process though is a big downside.
The top has a cork in it larger than most wine bottles, so you can't really tip it into your hand unless you want to bathe in it. There was a dropper included, but that was pretty worthless in my case. I squeeze the bulb, place it into the bottle, release the bulb, watch a bit of product come up the tube then immediately right back out... It won't hold the vacuum so it won't keep the product in it. Luckily I had a large dripper from an old vape juice bottle and was able to use it.

Scent gets a 10 out of 10
Presentation/packaging gets another 10 out of 10
Feel on the face I'd give another 10 out of 10
Longevity of scent, I'd have to knock that down to about a 5 of 10. It fades rapidly on me.
User friendliness, I'm going to have to give it a 1. The application for the user just wasn't well thought out.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of the bottle, but there should have been some sort of stopper in it to allow use without needing a 3rd party applicator.
