I can try to duplicate it for you but I need a sample to work off. Just so you know some scents that let’s say showcase a certain scent like Lavender or Sandalwood for example have other notes thrown in even though they call it lavender or Sandalwood. Another great example was the original AOS Sandalwood Cologne . It said Sandalwood on it and yet when you look at the original scent profile theirs like like 3 other notes they put in to get the final scent.

Let me know if you want me to try.

A sample would be easy enough to procure. I believe I have a bar of it open in one of the bathrooms. If not, they are cheap soapbars. I got them at Walmart for 99 cents a piece.

Let me see if I still have it.

Edit: also, I'm 90% sure there is more than lavender to the scent. A whole lot more, by my guess.

Oh ok it’s the bar soap? The reason is I looked online and I found vintage Yardley Lavender Cologne so I was thinking is this what you gents were referring to. That or shave soap they made

So if it’s the bar soap I can get that easily so no need for a sample but that you for offering one to me!

Yeah, sorry. I guess I was a bit vague with that. They have bar soap and liquid hand soap in (English) lavender. They smell mostly the same (and both very good).

It's my understanding that at some point there was a Yardley shave soap, but not Lavender and I think it was made by a third party?

I have both a 1980s version and the “current” version. I’d be happy to send them on. Assume it’s all synthetic these days.

Thank you and yes I’d like to try a sample of each vintage and modern. Your right and you can usually tell by price if a product is using synthetic or natural aromas especially when the rarer more expensive are the name on the package like Oud, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Neroli,, Rode absolute etc etc. where a synthetic duplication cost a fraction of the price of the real deal.

No problem and member @bobmsp is sending me samples of both the vintage and modern Lavenders so I can get a good idea of what everyone is talking about. Thank you!
 
UPDATE:

Just wanted to let you know I have left in inventory 1 Dragonsbeard Shave Soap from the warehouse inventory I found along with 3 Skin food splashes and 3 bath soaps if anyone wants the original formulas.

Pm me if your interested and I'll go on a first come first serve basis since there is so little left. I can only use paypal at this time until my website is up.

UPDATE:
