I almost burst into flames opening this thread.

Someone explain the tensile strength of hair related to the ability to use blades for extended periods of time to KJ again.

The guy that only shave 45% of his face serms to complaining 123% more than usual

Can you imagine if I did the whole thing??? I'd have to change my blade every shave and not be saving all the money that I am now on wet shaving.

I’m out on the Williams, PIFed my last one away and working on finishing up a soap. Let me see if I have a straight that might get me close to 100.

By my calculations....this will need to go until May 11th to reach 100 shaves. Or are you allowing for skipped shave days?

Skips are allowed. It's not 100 days, it's 100 shaves. The more skips and missed shaves you have will just drag the whole thing out longer, but that's fine too.

Nope all good. I figure there might be days to where you want to use another soap, like a holiday or other special occasion, or it you get a new soap and need to test it out. Minor steps away from the 3017 are allowed.

I suspect your razor is honed well enough to go the distance. I know from experience that when I was learning to straight razor shave I went at least 45 shaves on a modified gold dollar and never felt a loss in keenness.

I'm not planning on using any other soap or blade during the 3017. I was only worried about a missed morning shave (which it just occurred to me could be made up with an evening shave). 100 or bust.
