squid games - wow
I came here to say this. I binged the whole thing this weekend. I wasn't wild about the ending, but it was a pretty wild ride. I was curious why the players never keyed in on the murals in their dorm room though.

tbh, i didn't notice them until the beds moved out.. i was busy trying to both read the subs and watch the drama unfold.

Same..... they gradually uncovered them. But at some point they became glaringly obvious and they should have noticed them.
If you get the chance watched the dubbed version because you get to concentrate on the show and not a bunch of reading... Honestly I probably would Not have watched it if All I had was the subbed version...

Okay, just watched the first two episodes of "Foundation" on Apple TV+ or whatever their service is called. We got a year free on the service and I finally decided to check it out. Got to say...I am hooked! The series is based on the writings of Isaac Asimov, who regrettably, I have never read his writings. Mr. Asimov has always been on my short list to read, much like Salman Rushdie, just have never gotten there.

Anyway, the show's big names are Jarred Harris, Lee Pace, and Terrance Man. So far each of the two episodes have pretty big hooks at t he end of each to keep you wanting more. So far it seems well produced and directed and is very visually pleasing. So far...it's worth a watch.

I got busy and for some reason didn't finish up the last three episodes of Titans. So I finally watched them. I really enjoy that show. Hoping for a season four. I know it is a tad predictable...but who really cares. I am beyond needing a movie or show that has to bend the mind every time I watch it. Give me something entertaining...that's all I ask of these days.

Need to finish up Doom Patrol and then continue with Foundation.

My wife is , surprisingly, engaged in The Wheel of Time. At the end of episode 4, she's like "OMG I don't know what's going on" but she clicked into to the warden(sic..for her)-Aes Sedai bond on her own.

I've watched the first three episodes. I like the show...the genre seems to appeal to me. Though, I am trying to decide if it is preachy or not. I like it...I just wouldn't call it best in genre though.

Finished up Foundation and I like the show a lot. I am very interested to see where the next season leads. I think it is an ambitious story and the show is firing along on all cylinders now.

Anyone else watching the second season of The Witcher? I have to admit, that after almost two years since season one, I find myself a little lost. Even after watching the recap, I find myself wondering how we got to the events at the beginning of Season two Episode one. I probably should have re-watched the last couple of episodes of season one, but I didn't.

That being said, Season two is okay. I am about six episodes into it and I am finding myself wondering where it is all going. Some of the episodes are fun to watch. And others are just boring. I am reserving judgement until the end...but right now I am giving the season a C+.

Starting this tonight

Finished Binging 1st season of Foundation.. Very impressed, Great cast and Fantastic story. Very much a Game of Thrones like feel, mixed with Westworld. Not positive but I think the Thessian Language is Dolthraki, LOL Now the long wait for season 2....... Maybe late 2022 or 2023 ugh, LOL Thanks @dangerousdon for the recommendation and the stress of waiting HAHA

Gosh that latest episode of the Book of Boba Fett was painful/cringy. Great idea behind the episode, worst execution of series idea so far.

Soooo looking forward to the 2nd season of Resident Alien on SyFy. 1st season was Funny as hell. Main character played Hoban Washburn in Firefly/Serenity. One of his best lines:

"Humans are just Annoying Flesh Monkey"

Starts Wednesday!

Started watching the German (it’s dubbed though) series “Dark” on Netflix. Just finished the first season. Pretty good, old school made new, sci-fi storyline! Excited to see where they take it!

Parental warning: Some language and a couple scenes of brief nudity.
