TV Shows

Anime fans, don’t miss out!

Kotaru Lives Alone streaming on Netflix. Great inaugural season! Fairly family friendly.

Getting around to the second season of The Righteous Gemstones. It is amazingly irreverent and hysterical! I have a bit of history that makes this show absolutely a riot for me.

Just finished binging Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett in preparation for Obi-wan, and must say, although more of a Trek fan, it was a bunch of fun. Enjoyed Boba Fett a bit more than Mando, probably because every time I saw Pedro Pascal I was waiting for the “Mountain” to show up LOL

We just finished semi-binge watching Breaking Bad for the first time. I have been after the wife for years to watch it and we finally started early last week. All done now . We are both impressed.
Now watch El Camino tidys up everything nicely

My wife watched it (without telling me) a day or two after we watched the series finale. :cautious: I don't much much TV without her except for news and football.

Watching Reacher Season 1.. Just finished the 2nd episode and is pretty good so far. Of course I know how the season ends already but still like it...
I loved it! Just good old fashion violence and action. Semi-smart but not too smart and totally predictable. Just what I like these days.
Binging Wanda Vision now.
One of my favorite Marvel anything!

Kids in the Hall (otherwise known as The. Greatest. TV. Show. Ever. In. The. History. of. Mankind (and yes - they are all Canadian)…..has been resurrected by Amazon Prime.

Now the show may not be for everyone - it is irreverent, but know this…….

So...have you watched it yet? Just curious if it is actually funny or if I should just not waste my time.

Oh...and while I think that Kids in the Hall is an incredible show...sent me laughing for hours on end...I think The State was actually better. Just not as many episodes.

I’ve watched three episodes so far and I have mixed feelings - keeping in mind that this show was my go to in college for my friends and me……so I put it on that pedestal. There are some very funny or at least humorous skits but there are some skits that go way beyond being irreverent or pushing the boundaries and border on raunchy. So much so that had I been watching with my kids (who are all in their teens or 20s) - there would be some challenging, difficult conversations. Which is shocking - these guys are talented and don’t need to go there - and people who remember would go watch the show so it’s not like Amazon needs that type of publicity).
