Oh so totally legit. We’re it not for the quartz movement, the shabby band, the lack of waterproof ness, and the general “legit-ness” it would be indistinguishable from a real Grand Seiko if you squint your eyes just right.

I was afraid this might happen, so I told her about it before the second one arrived. International returns are complicated. I did offer to return it to Amazon, but for whatever reason, she’s letting me keep it. Maybe it’s a test. I kept all the packaging because even I kind of want to return one of them.
