Plant more! You can keep those going all season. Plant a new batch of them every 30 days and you'll have a constant supply of radishes.
I suppose we could, nothing wrong with that I suppose!

I hear those Icicle varieties do well in summer. I just ordered some and thanks for enabling me!

Have you planted anything to help attract Bees and other pollinators to your garden?

I have three of these types of bees buzzing around my new yard....the Bumblebee, the leaf cutter and the western honey. I love having trees and plants again like we did back in santa monica.

I haven't planted anything specifically for them, but I have a lot of trees on my property that flower in the spring and my future bees will love them. I have about an acre of my property that is just small trees and brush. It doesn't get mowed. I want to convert as much of that area as I can to wildflowers.
I'm almost positive that would violate my HOA rules.
Look it up! I'm curious.

Just have to keep them inside
Honestly, that is completely plausible. They make observation hives that are indoors. There's a small tube that goes through the wall for their entry and exit to the hive.

Garden update:

Today we had our first rain in 4 weeks! 2/10ths of an inch, but better than nothing! Regardless the garden is doing really well.

I've been fighting the cabbage worms for about a week and so far I'm winning the battle, but there are a lot more of them than me....

The watermelons are starting to climb their cattle panel trellis. Thankful for the rain to partially fill my water tanks.

Tomatoes are going nuts! I'm growing: Cherry, Yellow Pear Cherry, Mortgage Lifter, Brandywine, Yellow Amish, Roma, and Beef Steak varieties

This one is kinda cool, it is a Peruvian Groundcherry or husk cherry. It is related to the Tomatillo, but it tastes like buttery Mango/Pineapple.

Eggplants all have flowers and look great!

Dang man, that all exploded!

The watermelons are starting to climb their cattle panel trellis.
Wait what? Watermelons growing up? I've only seen them on the ground. Won't the melons be too heavy to grow hanging?

Thanks, Dave! Yes, you can grow watermelons on a trellis! Once the fruit comes on, you can make a hammock out of old shirts, sheets, pantyhose, or whatever you have hanging around.

Finally, I finished the garden fence!! Then last night I crafted our gate out of scrap wood and installed it over lunch. I need to place a large rock or more gravel in the gap on the down hill side next to the post. Overall I’m really happy with it. This winter I’ll likely pull the three smaller raised beds and move the fence a little bit, so I can encorporate another 3 8X4 beds next to the 6 existing 8X4’s.

Sorry for the blurry photo, my iPhone camera is broken and it is perpetually blurry. It needs replaced.

Garden update: fighting the Japanese Beetles(my least favorite Japanese export) and cabbage worms. Overall everything is looking good except the zucchini.

Nathan begged for a pumpkin patch, so I made him one outside the garden area. They should sprout this week and we’ll have pumpkins in time for Halloween.
