The TSC Movie Thread

Alicia and I are gonna watch this... Seems like a "fun Campy" horror movie where the people we grew up seeing as the villians in movies are playing themselves and are now being chased by another villian !!

Bad Sci-fi promised - Bad sci-fi delivered!
“Night of the Lepus” (1972)
Recommended during our Zoom Call this one was promised to be a velvety cheesy experience. Featuring an all-star cast, including Deforest Kelly of Star Trek fame.

Cheesy goodness flowed from the screen pretty much from the very beginning! It was great seeing Dr. McCoy with long hair and mutton chops. Weak writing and old school effects make for a very enjoyable afternoon movie. If b-grade movies are your bag, Night of the Lepus is definitely worth a watch.

Dude...saw this as a kid and still have nightmares about rabbits! But bad sci-fi this is not!

So we finally forced ourselves to watch Raging Bull because it was next on our poster of movies. It made us changes our rules about watching the whole thing. We watched 2/3 before calling uncle because of the yelling, demeaning, and abuse.

Carry-On.

Good movie. Awesome to see Jason Bateman as a villain. I thought the end was a bit rushed and anticlimactic, but it was a fun ride. It could have been better, but for a Netflix movie it was pretty good. Worth the watch if you enjoy Jason Bateman or Taron Egerton. Good performance by Theo Rossi as well.

I will probably be ridiculed for this...but I always thought Raging Bull was VERY overrated.
