@MarkB you made me go look at this contraption. But it looks like clean up with the aeropress is easier and we don't have a sink in our dept. True that you need to rinse out the filter?

Yes, it has a built in stainless steel filter that needs to be cleaned after each use.

FTFY

I reuse my Aeropress filters about 10 times.
I use a reusable metal filter in my knock-off aeropress. Sometimes when I grind my beans too fine I will add a paper filter to the mix. I am not refined enough to notice the difference in taste between metal and paper so its all good to me.

Been trying some different roasters from around here. Found some good stuff from a company out of Chattanooga called Mad Priest Coffee Roasters. Their Matriarch Espresso Blend is one of the best I have had. My wife, who doesn't like coffee, even comments on how good it smells. I recently bought a bag of their Dark Night of the Soul. It is good, but my favorite non espresso is still Peet's Major Dickason's Blend.

I use a Bodum pour over for normal coffee and an aeropress for espresso. I grind the beans immediately before use.
