So it is a muted homage to Hermes Terre D'Hermes and that is why I throw that scent on as the capper to the shave. CBL Orange Dirt is the same, same concept I have been told. It is good stuff Bruce that is all I know and Canadian! SO a good smelling victory for the Canucks!
Who would have thought Orange Dirt could smell so classy?! ;)

Happy Monday! Warm sun streaming through the window. Hope the weekend was good to you all.

A snowy Wednesday but we are still just halfway to the weekend. That’s a win in my books. Reached for my first DE today in the EJ 89LBL. Loaded it up with a Personna Platinum and got through quite a good shave.

Soap of the day was B&M Seville with the matching AS splash. When this tub is done I don’t know if I will replace it with another. Not that I don’t love it because it is great all around, it’s just that if the base of the new version is like that found in Leviathan I won’t be happy.

Shave options aside, I hope everyone enjoys a good hump day. Stay safe!

Another stellar shave and another enjoyably mild razor. The Gillette Tech truly is a simple thing of beauty. Loaded up with a fresh Personna Platinum.

Soap today Stirling Sharp Dressed man with the matching AS and capped off with Coach for Men. Perfection.

This was my first DE too. I eventually PIFed it to a new wet shaver. After my first shave with it, I was hooked. It was the best shave I'd ever had at that point!
Mine still comes up in rotation along with my second DE which is a Muhle R41...jumped in with both feet mild to wild.

My second was a birth year Red Tip. Soon after, I started shaving my head - very unforgiving territory. I had a few scabs the first weeks.

Oh yeah it took some practice shaving the dome. The worst moment I had was trying to shave my dome with the Merkur 37C Slant...yeah, I thought it was a great idea at the time...😳

Well I let the whiskers grow out a bit and had to call in some heavy artillery in the form of beautifully golden Gillette Sheraton to mow it all down. I love OC TTO and this one is a wonderfully smooth shaving beasty.

Soap of the day Tabac. There is nothing left to say. Haters be hating. I love the stuff.

Enjoy the sunshine Cadre and stay safe!

I had a Sheraton from the same period. Very efficient razor, and extremely cool looking. (y)
