Never had issues with his work he's good people. He even scored me a case for a minty 46-47 A'crat I had sitting around and sent the matching blade bank to complete the set. Case looked new! Good guy.He did some work for me a while back. Fast, excellent work.
It was replated by Chris at BackRoadsGold. I have two Gillette SC, (Rhodium and 24K) one LC and the Sheraton (both 24K) all done by him.
I have used three replaters since 2012. BRG is the best overall. Others do a nice job, but take weeks, even months. BRG is super fast and his work is topnotch.Sounds like BRG might be a good candidate to plate my Brass General when the time comes!
Words to live by, my friend, words to live by.Stay safe, count your blessings and keep it positive.

Nope that one is all original and a war time era Tech. It has the triangular slots in the base plate. It is the most efficient of my Techs and I have 6 of them from different eras and both US and British in origin. My fav though is my 1953 Canadian NOS. My first vintage Gillette razor...a whopping $6 on the Bay! I can't bring myself to use it...Now that is one BEAUTIFUL Fat Handle! Within the last year and a half or so, I've really come to love the Tech and it's many variations. Did you have it replated?
